Games and Apps not responding at all

When I'm clicking on games and apps they are not responding at all. The controller works fine clicking on other actions on the xbox so not a problem with the controller. Have tried completely rebooting the xbox with a cold start but they still won't work.
Any suggestions?

Do Live people work for MIcrosoft?

After all the unhappy posts about Microsoft games not working and no one responding, there must be only computers working at Microsoft and not very good computer at that. Some very poor programs.

Xbox Games and Apps will not launch also 30 games uninstalled all at once.

It sounds like the external storage device may be the culprit. Are you able to install games to your internal storage while the external storage device is unplugged? Try navigating your Xbox One without any USB devices plugged in to see if there's a change.

I'm having this exact same issue, and Xbox support has not been responding to me. It's really frustrating on top of all the XBL issues the past few months. All other apps and games I've tried work fine, including the Xbox app. I've tried resetting the
app, and also uninstalling and reinstalling. No change.

Are you seeing this issue with every app?

Do you mind sending us an example video of what you are seeing so we can tell exactly what is happening?

Let's also have you power the console down, unplug it for 5 minutes, and then power it back on to try again.
