games and apps not downloading

Hi,

I never have problems with my xbox but over the past few days my apps and games won't install. I have enough space and have the latest updates.

Any help would be appreciated. I tried the call back from Microsoft but I think the robot fell out with me.

I need help!

I am running my Xbox One S with a wired Ethernet connection, & an external HDD for my library of games, but whenever i go to download updates for games or install new ones, the download just won't start.

I've been at this for hours, tried all the solutions seen on Google, but nothing is fixing it. What do i do? I have so many games i wanna play, but many of them need updates.

My Games & Apps has become very, very sluggish lately & needs to be fixed now.

Can anyone help me???

hi, have you tried to power cycle your xbox?

 

Yes and checked my internet connection which is ok. Also checked xbox live and all is normal. However when I click on the failed download it tell there is a malfunction with xbox live.

Thank you for keeping us updated. Is this issue occurring on an Xbox One or Xbox 360? Is this issue occurring with all games and applications or only a few? Which country is the console in? If the console is an Xbox One, is the console enrolled in the

Xbox Insider program? Be sure to let us know the results!

 

My son is having great difficulty in loading his games..

Keeps telling him that who loaded the app or game ...

Any suggestions..

I have an Xbox one x in the UK and I am enrolled in the insider program. It is happening with all apps and games. I purchased the games two days ago from the store.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with downloading any games and apps on your Xbox.

Since it was mentioned that you've done a few troubleshooting steps. I would recommend to do a

Soft Factory Reset. This will reset your Xbox but keeping
your games and apps. Afterwards check to see if it resolved the downloading problem

Side Note:
It is very
important to make sure you have a secure network connection and know the primary email/password to the account before resetting the Xbox.



You can also report this problem using the Xbox Insider Hub app so we can investigate it further:



On your console, install the Xbox Insider Hub app (if you don’t already have it).



Hold down the Xbox button on the controller.



On the power menu, select Report a problem.



Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

it been happening with me lately in this insider build

just shipped my console today for repair as i was having other startup problem that wont go away even after factory rest several times

its a very brand new xbox one s

I tried this in settings but it didn't work. But it did work manually so thank you for your assistance.

I have semilar problem unable to download apps or gå med at all..

My internet speed is 20/20 mbs but if i run the build in Network diagnostics it shows 0.018mbs download..

If I use the edge browser on my xbox and go to Internet Speed Test it shows i have 20mbs download..

I tried soft factory reset.

Did not Sølve the problem.

The account is not part of the insider program . Its connect through a 4g Huawei router. The xbox is connected by 5g wifi.

the download speed does not improve if I switch to wired.
