Games and apps freeze or won't load

ever since I done the console update whenever I try to load a game or app the game/app either freezes or shows a loading symbol but never loads. I've tried pressing the restart console button but that takes me to a black screen and does nothing

Can't play any movies or apps

I can't watch sky Netflix or any of the apps the movies won't load and freeze the picture?please help I've rang sky Xbox and no one can solve it

 

Have You Ever Had To Do A Hard Reset?

yes three or 4 times. Sometimes a game wont load. Other times apps won't load. So on and so on..

 

Guys, I'm back up and running!

I performed a console reset, leaving the games intact.

To do this, go to Settings, All Settings, System, Console Info & Updates, Reset console, and finally select Reset and keep my games and apps.

When I did mine, my Xbox went to a black screen, and I let it sit there for a while, maybe 20 minutes or so. I removed the power, gave it 30 secs, and plugged it back in. The console restarted, and I had to enter all of my info (location, time, etc.), like
when you first turn it on.

Once it was back up, the first thing I noticed was that the "sluggishness" was gone. I ran a game from disc, one from the hdd, and an app. All are working now!!
