Games/Addons on different consoles or accounts

I have a Xbox One S, where Forza Horizon 3 with Hot Wheels was preinstalled. On the Xbox we have two user account, one for me and one for my son. He purchased a Car Pack Addon for Forza which I activated, when I was logged in. My son can also use this Addon
when he is logged. Now he bought Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition in a shop and thinks about purchasing the Deluxe-Addon, what brings me to my question.

He wishes an own Xbox One for Christmas, what happens then with the Addons he bought, can he use them on his own Xbox or are these Addons bounded to my account or the console. What is the best way, when we get a second Xbox, that he can use all his games
and Addons?

He has to log in as the main account on the console the account in which the games were purchased, download, after download he leaves the account and login with his, then can use the games.

If he has his own account separate from yours with his own email address, then yes, he will be able to reinstall the DLCs onto his new Xbox. When he has his own console set up, it will show all of the games ready for install under his ‘Games & apps’

Thanks for the update. When he gets his own console. Since it was redeemed on your account the Forza Horizon 3. You can set up

home console. This will allow him to still play the game on his own console. To do this is pretty simple two easy steps.

Download your profile on your sons Xbox.
Go to settings>personalization>my home Xbox> clack A on make this my home Xbox.

This will make his console your home which shares your games, Xbox live subscription. You do not need to be logged in on your profile for him to utilize these on his console.

The game "Forza Horizon 3" with Hot Wheels was a download code, which was sold together with the console in a bundle. The code was redeemed with my account. The Car Pack was bought in a store as a download code and was also redeemed with my account. When
he is logged in on the console, he can both use the game and the Car Pack. The new "Forza Horizon 4" is the disc version. But when he now gets his own console, what happens with Forza 3 and the Car Pack.

Or are these purchased also console bounded? Then he can also take the existing console, I remove my account and take the new console. Will Forza Horizon 3 and the Car Pack still be playable on the console?

It is so complicated with all these DLCs, digital purchases, add-ons, updates... I am from a gaming generation, where you just plug in your module into the console, press Power and just have fun
