Gamerzone "Cheater" Resolve

Not proud to say but I used a gamerscore exploit several years ago, probably more than 5 years ago. My gamerscore was promptly reset to 0 and my gamerzone was changed to cheater. I'm not upset about losing the gamerscore but after 5+ years it would be nice
if someone could reevaluate the cheater status. I'm a pretty loyal MS customer and a BestBuy employee at store 39. I sell Microsoft product everyday, I'm also gonna have a hard time telling myself to buy an Xbox One with the "Cheater" label already stamped
on my forehead.

Anyway just let me know what you think, previous chat sessions with an MS representative told me come here and present the issue.

Gamerscore lowered and gamerzone "cheater"?

In order to get an official answer from the enforcement team you will need to post in the following forum. But GS resets are usually final and that forum will only give you the reason why.

Hey, i was just talking to a nice lady from tech support to get my Live working correctly, and as i finally get back on it, i notice that my gamerscore is 3,830, when the last time i checked it was around 12,000 or so. I checked to see what was wrong, and
some of my games, like Halo 3, have 0 gamerscore, when i had every achievement on that game. My gamerzone also says that i'm a "cheater". I don't know what that means. But i'm really upset that all of my hard-earned achievements, especially the Halo 3 ones,
are all missing.

Thanks for your time. Hope we can get this figured out so my achievements can get back to normal.

sorry the ONLY way to get that Cheater thing removed is to start over on a fresh account there are no appeals once branded it is 100% permanent.

The Cheater gamerzone is occured if the game has obtained Achievements illegitimately such as unlocking online-only Achievements while offline. However, while players cannot see the Cheater gamerzone for that player on the Xbox, it does say "Gamerscore
has been reset due to cheating" below the Bio on the player at Xbox.com.

You may not be a cheater, but your gamertag is. The
Terms of Use is very clear about this:

4. Your Service Account, Associated Accounts and Accounts from Third Parties.

Except as provided in this Section, only you may use your Service account.
You must keep your accounts and passwords confidential and not authorize any third party to access or use the Service on your behalf unless we provide an approved mechanism for that. You must contact
Customer Support immediately if you suspect misuse of your accounts or any security breach in the Service. For some parts of the Service, you may be able to set up additional accounts that are dependent on your account (“associated accounts”). You
are responsible for all activity that takes place with your Service account and any associated accounts. We may limit who may use your Service account or any associated accounts or the number of devices from which you may access the Service.

Basically, if cheating was done on you account (even by someone else), YOU are who has to face the consequences of that. In this case being permanently branded a cheater.
