Gamertags not been in use for well over a year or two

So I've been looking into two different gamertags for what seems like forever (Around a year and a half). Neither of these seem to be the kind that Xbox claims as they both have people on their friends list that don't have the standard Xbox logo but both
friends lists are smaller than 5 people.

Gamertag #1- Numb

This is my ideal gamertag as Numb was always in my name on PSN and everyone calls me Numb now anyway since my GT is KQ Numb. But since i have to change it anyway as i'm not in KQ anymore, if i could just get the name Numb that would be Ideal and id never
have to change my name again. I originally checked into this name last year around late april- early may and it was the same as it is now. same friends who are all permanently offline and 3 of the 4 have the generic Xbox logo with a white background and the
fourth is a silver account named "Wizdom" that shows it has been permanently offline as well. So, my guess is that this is an account owned by a guy who just wanted to collect OG Gamertags. As I said, this is my ideal gamertag and i would absolutely LOVE to
have this.

Gamertag #2- Janxy

This one was one of my original names when i started playing competitive cod with clans. it was always (Clan Name) Janxy (Ex. AdapT Janxy). But as i started playing with kids who knew me previously, they all still called me numb so i switched back to that.
I originally checked into this account close to two years ago and it was still a silver account that someone gave up on. It has 4 friends, two that are still active. I messaged one in hopes that it was the account owner and we could work something out for
that gamertag but never got a response (I think i got blocked). This account seems like it was just one that someone silvered so that they didn't loose the name.

If you would be able to vacate one of these names (Preferably Numb) I would be extremely grateful. I have been trying to switch my name to them for as long as i can remember. Thanks.

Can't change Microsoft Account

My Gamertag has been active for over 4 years, the child account's Gamertag has been active for well over three years and it's been downloaded to my console for about a year. Is that information pointing out something else that I'm not catching?

 

Gamertag Problem

I would Like to change my gamertag. The problem is the name i want is used. The profile has no avatar and only has 50g the account looks like its been completely innactive for well over a year or two. Does that kind of account get recycled? Will I ever
get the gamertag I want?

 

It does not matter what they are inactive or active remember there is multiple services that use the same system of gamertags including games for Windows and zune

And it is not a on-demand service you will have to wait it out or be creative with your name

 

I was told to post here and add them to the "Wishlist" and they would be investigated and potentially made available.

I heard old GTs are being re-added. When will "This GT" be available?

There is no schedule or estimated dates for when certain GTs will become available again. GTs are not an on-demand service. They will be available when they are available

If I were you mate I wouldn't bother trying to get an OG, either keep the one that you have or make a new one. The only way in which you can get an OG now is by waiting for xbox to reset inactive ones, although there is no set time that gamertags get reset,
this is most likely because a few years back MS released a large number of inactive gamertags and made them available, unfortunately people then started hoarding gamertags and then selling them, which is against TOC. It's a shame really that a small number
of people can ruin it for everyone else.
