Gamertag without validation

Hello.

I have an problem with my gamertag.

I had buy a One S this afternoon and during the instalaltion i creat my account.

The One start with an name account Nickelaigle6859 with have any link with my mail or name.... i want to change but i make an mistake and without validation he change it by an f***ng name .....

And i don't want pay 9€ for change an name which I don't have explicitly choose.

Please Help me. After have paied lot for an One S i don't want play with this name...

With regards to your concern. Have you tried to refresh first your account from the console then try again? To do that, just remove the account from the console then sign back in or download again. There can be an issue with the account so it needs to be
reloaded from the console. Online, it can be an issue with the browser you're using.

New Gamertage validation?

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but everytime I try to Change to a new gamer tag on my google chrome browser (adguards turned off), it refreshes "Check availability" and "claim it!" and doesn't acknowledge that i clicked the button and sends
me through a loop

On the Xbox one Console it is similar, Every attempt i do there and it keeps saying "Oops, something went wrong but we don't know why?" Is there a fix to this?

Your gamertag is pretty much set in stone once you accept it. If you want to change it for any reason, you'll have to pay the gamertag name change fee like everybody else.

The only way around this is to make a completely new account.

Your best bet is to contact Xbox Support and see if they can validate your gamertag so that they can provide the Microsoft Account email address that is tied to your gamertag.

Please be aware that Xbox Support is not able to simply provide the MSA without first validating the account, and cannot provide the password either.

When I try to look up any variation of the gamertag without an extra letter it is also not valid. Is it possible that you guys have blocked off that particular word? I would really enjoy having that gamertag.

@Force Mythic there's nothing in appropriate in it in any way shape or form, you could stick it on a corporate office door and no one would think a thing of it

@MLP37 If that were the case, IT would say this gamertag has been taken. and I tried spacing it out [took a while to do], there is nothing what so ever.

Also if it were being used by other services such as that, I'd still be able to add any of the variations [Spaced out or not] as a friend.

Gamertagchecker.com is misleading you.

Just because no one is using a gamertag in the Xbox LIVE system does not mean it is available.

Other Microsoft services issue gamertags, too.

Also, a gamertag could be inactive but still be spoken for.
