Gamertag was forced to be changed cause it was inappropriate....

My gamertag was [Mod Removed] and I don't see what's so wrong with it. Had no problems with it for years till today so why is it inappropriate? And why can't you go back to a previous gamertag you had before??? That makes no sense.

The new gamertag was a result of your account being issued a Forced Name Change due to having an inappropriate gamertag. If the password was changed, how are you logging in?

 

Gamertag Change

I was FORCED to changed my gamertag, due to it being inappropriate, i changed it with no problem, then a couple of years ago i changed it again and paid for it. I now want to change it again and feel that i shouldn't have to pay for it since they FORCED
me to change it which used my free chance to change it on my terms. i feel that i shuld be given one free chance to change my gamertag since the initial change was not my choice.

 

And I'm being forced to pay money to change my gamertag? Are you kidding me right now?

 

In my opinion that GamerTag does look "Not Right" but the enforcement team have took actions due to your gamer tag. But I don't know why or how but I recommend you post on the Xbox Enforcement Forum and they will tell you why and everything in full detail.
I wouldn't think you would be charged either.

 

hi, looks pretty obvious to me.... [Mod Removed] is a negative emotional state. Many folks are stressed with enough tensions in todays society. With a suggestion of this kind it sends up a red flag to me and possible others. Some folks look for attention
others are calling out for help. A better first choice in choosing a gamertag would have avoided the charge for a gametag change. being responsible to others views would have saved you cash and attention. This is a world wide gaming forum and considerations
must be extended for the betterment of all concerned.

 

It doesn't matter how long you've had it. It takes on single complaint for them to look at it. The new policy is that you're given a random gamertag upon receiving a forced name change. A new choice does cost $9.99.
