Gamertag was changed, how to get it back ?

Hi,

My gamertag was flagged by someone and xbox automatically changed it. I made a case review appeal on xbox enforcement, and after two days they now concluded "Decision Overturned".

So, I went to see if my gamertag was restored, but sadly it is not. Will it be restored ?

It says on xbox enforcement it now says my file is clean and that the gamertag ban was overturned.

Enforcement Name : Gamertag

Case Review Status: Decision overturned.

Will it change back automatically ?

Edit: Chatted with an xbox ambassador/volonteer, and he said that gamertag reviews were impossible ?! Yet they did review my case and even overturned their decision.

GAMERTAG BANNED, HOW TO GET IT BACK

An email would of been sent to the address linked to that account explaining the reason for the suspension or post in the ban/suspension forum here

If it's a suspension then your son will just have to wait it out,If it's a ban then he will never get the account back & forfeit all downloaded games,dlc & remaining xbox live gold time as per the terms & conditions.

I also tried to changed my gamertag myself, but I have to pay ? After 8 years on xbox live, I'm pretty sure I should have a free gamertag change but nope , have to pay! This is all pretty unfair.

I think I managed to get my Gamertag back after changing it. Can't remember how though as it was such a long time ago.

As you been told already you are just going to have to keep logging in

If you didn't use a outlook.com address and then you should check your spam on all emails.

They won't give info without PII

As mentioned security is paramount if you have a valid payment method on file you can try and work with support

This is a legal requirement not an optional one and yes PII is legally required by privacy laws

I spent 3 years working with steam over an account but Because they needed the cdkey I couldn't get it back but luckily I found the og Half-Life 2 cds

I Don’t know anything about that profile, because i only register a new profile because the old one was baned from forza horizon 4 mod, then i make the new one just to play forza horizon 5. I have many emails, and i don’t know that “siskoyt”

which one email was using, if someone from support can tell me which email does use, i would at that time remember the password
