    GamerTag Update


    Hello,

    I was recently assisted by Xbox Support named Diseree and upon talking I was directed here. I have recently purchased an XboxOne and now that I will be playing online I wanted to change my GamerTag as it has my full name in the tag. I was told to post to
    this tread and I will be assisted on how to have the tag changed. I know what I would like it to be changed to so please notify me upon review so I can have this completed ASAP.

    changing email address associated with xbox

    I was going to change my Gamertag's old Hotmail address to a new gaming themed one, but it is now all tied into one Microsoft account, so it would mean it would be updated for all my Microsoft products and not just my Gamertag. I didn't bother in the end.

    No, unfortunately this would not update your gamertag, In order to update it you would have to manually edit the gamertag.
