Gamertag too short - Won't allow Xbox Live connectivity

Purchased Blood Bowl 2 recently when it was part of DWG.

When I start it up, it doesn't matter if i'm in single player or multiplayer - the game won't let me connect to Xbox Live because it requires a gamertag with a minimum of 4 characters. I have the same one I had when Xbox Live was first available that is
only 3 characters and don't want to change it so I can play the game online.

Anyone else run into this issue or heard of a fix?

how to change age on live accounts

new to Xbox360, bought Live Gold for my son for Christmas, entered his info correctly.

we got him Battlefied3, which from reading in here EA won't allow him to play until his account reaches 13

as parents we will allow him to play

long story short, is there a way to access his Live Gold info and change his birthdate

if not, if we delete his gamertag can we create a new one and use the same Live Gold code or will it be lost?

This is super odd. Is this error an in-game error or is this something that you have seen for other titles? If this is an in-game error this would be something to reach out to the publisher about, as it's something on their side preventing your GT from accessing
the game.

Let us know what's going on.

 

I've only run into it in-game. I'll try to get on it again to get a capture or at least the error code. Don't remember off the top of my head if it was a XBL error or an in-game error.

 

Posted on the game developers forum and they made a small server side fix within about a day of my post. Online now - awesome!
