    Gamertag taken but says doesnt exit


    Hey i have always wanted a certain GT and when i go too change it, it says this gamertag is taken however when i got to Add it as a friend it cant complete the process also i tried sending the account a private chat and it says that the GT doesnt Exist
    someone pls HELP!!!!!

    New Gamertag Taken..But Doesnt Exist?

    I was trying to change my GT to something and it says its already taken...but when i try to add that same GT it says it doesnt exist..

    Can someone tell me what this means? Or do i gotta call and try to get them to fix it.

    Also, GTs disregard spaces and capitalization. For instance, "Major Nelson" = "MajorNelson" = "MaJoR n E l S o N"

    Gamertag taken but says doesnt exit

    Could have been used on original Xbox but they are freeing up gamwrtags so you could be in luck but you might need to wait it out until it becomes available

    Gamertags are also used on other services,not just xbox live.

    If it says it's not available then there's nothing you can do other than keep checking every now and then.

    No if it says the name is taken then the name is taken. Gamertags are used other places besides Xbox live so just because it shows no activity on Xbox doesnt mean it is not being used by someone.

    Well if you mean you friend requested a name that doesnt work

    You have to change The name to See if its available

    Gamertags are used by 3 services zune games for windowsd and windows phone

    If it is says it Taken then it is Taken you will have to be more creative with your name
