    Gamertag System Is Broken (XBOX CONTACT ME!)


    This is for Minecraft Pocket Edition, not Java

    I want to change my gamertag from "Elemental YT180" to "ElementalPlaysX" bit it won't work because "This Gamertag is already taken or isn't allowed" but I Reality when I search it up on MCPE (Minecraft Pocket Edition) there are no results

    Xbox i'm going to give you a few options 1. Let me change my gamertag to "ElementalPlaysX" on my first alt so that there will be peace

    2.Transfer all of my data to another account so that I can change my gamertag easily

    And for the love of God PLEASE fix the gamertag system

    Follow Up: Incomplete Gamertag Change

    Herbert.

    If you have an account that is basically broken (Gamertag showing on account but when you try to download it or get to the My Account section you get a glitch) you likely need to contact Xbox Phone Support and get this sent to an escalations team again.
    A gamertag change or Microsoft account change on a Gamertag should not take longer than 30 days for the system to move your data to your new Gamertag/Account.

    the xbox team is working on the problem but they cant give a ETA as it affects alot of people on xbox and cant be fixed super fast without creating new system bugs

    Here on the Forum you can speak with Ambassador (voluntary like me), MODs or MVP, but I don't know if someone have idea when bug like this will be fixed, maybe a direct contact with the dashboard developers may help but I'm the first that don't know how
    to contact them.

    Yeah the system is totally broken as you can see with my gamertag.

    It took me 3 weeks and 3 applications before I was accepted and the E-mail I got was utter crap. Hells I even got a delivery failure notification E-mail. So I just gave up.

    I just keep the symbol on my gamertag as it looks nice.

    -

    But yeah the system is broken just like everything else is around here.

    Xbox Live account unrecoverable

    I would contact Phone support to see if they can escalate it as a broken/inactive Microsoft account. If that comes back with a no then you won't be able to use that email address/gamertag until Microsoft goes through their system and makes those available
    but there is not estimated time when that will be.
