Gamertag revocation decision overturned

I recently had my gamertag revoked and I appealed the decision through the xbox enforcement website. My case review status was updated to decision overturned, however, there is no link or comment to tell me what to do next. I interpret this as meaning
if my gamertag revocation was overturned I should get my old gamertag back. I contacted microsoft support through online chat and phone, and neither were able to provide me a definitive answer as to what happens next. Has anyone ever experience this or heard
of this happening?

Gamertag was changed, how to get it back ?

Hi,

My gamertag was flagged by someone and xbox automatically changed it. I made a case review appeal on xbox enforcement, and after two days they now concluded "Decision Overturned".

So, I went to see if my gamertag was restored, but sadly it is not. Will it be restored ?

It says on xbox enforcement it now says my file is clean and that the gamertag ban was overturned.

Case Review Status: Decision overturned.

Will it change back automatically ?

Edit: Chatted with an xbox ambassador/volonteer, and he said that gamertag reviews were impossible ?! Yet they did review my case and even overturned their decision.

Good Evening,

My original Gamertag was recently force changed by the Enforcement Team. I submitted an appeal, and the end result was a decision of decision overturned.

However, my old gamertag has not been restored, and now the appeal has been locked out and I cant access it to ask if and when the gamertag should be restored.

Any advice?

It should be done automatically (although it may have a delay). Have you tried logging out of all devices? It appears your name is no longer a random generated one.
