Discus and support Gamertag request in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Ive been trying to change my name to Sir FlexAlot but it keeps saying its currently taken i looked up the gamertag to see if it was currently taken...     Ive been trying to change my name to Sir FlexAlot but it keeps saying its currently taken i looked up the gamertag to see if it was currently taken but nothing showed up id like to request the freeing of this name if i can please

    for one gamertags aren't a on demand service you must wait for whenever it's free

    No sooner no later your gotta wait for the gamertag lottery and wait for when it's free

    If the system says a tag is taken, then it's taken and you cannot use it. The tag system is in use in other Microsoft services, so even if it's not on use on the Xbox it can be in use elsewhere. The system also doesn't see things like spaces as making a
    gamertag unique. Even though the gamertag is not taken as sir flexalot, it is in use as sir flex a lot.

    It just means that it isn't on xbox live as that way of typing

    is the same as ngoc Phi

    Also searching it on this website doesn't check all 3 services

    Gamer tags are not an on demand service if it says it is taken then it is taken

    You will have to be more creative

    Add numbers to it so that it's different from the current account.

    The gamer tag may not be in use but if the email account is then sorry , you will have to wait till it goes inactive , takes about 3-5 years after that
