    Gamertag request


    I was wanting to change my name to Reality but it says I can’t and the account isn’t active is seems. I have an old account from og Xbox named iReality which I haven’t used since then, I was wonder if anyone can help me, it would be nice to get either one.

    for one gamertags aren't a on demand service you must wait for whenever it's free

    No sooner no later your gotta wait for the gamertag lottery and wait for when it's free

    Someone has to file a complaint on your GT and the support team will decide whether or not you have to get it changed

    There is no way to request an inactive GT. If the account remains inactive for 5 years (starting from 2016) then it may be released for use again. Take in mind that GTs are attached to accounts and other MS services that may not use Xbox.

    the iReality account was made by me and I don’t use that email nor the account for more than 5 years now, wouldn’t it be a released by now

    No. As bowski stated, the 5 years started in 2016. So 2021 would be when it would be released.

    It just means that it isn't on xbox live as that way of typing

    is the same as ngoc Phi

    Also searching it on this website doesn't check all 3 services

    Gamer tags are not an on demand service if it says it is taken then it is taken

    You will have to be more creative

    Add numbers to it so that it's different from the current account.

    The gamer tag may not be in use but if the email account is then sorry , you will have to wait till it goes inactive , takes about 3-5 years after that
