    When do inactive accounts become available again?

    Hi,

    Sorry, Microsoft does not have a set date or time when they will release gamertags. This is done because people camp gamertags and sell them. It's best if the date/time that gamertags are released is random and unknown to anyone.

    Did not receive Halo 4 specialization code

    A possible source to this error may be that I changed my gamertag before and after 11/20 from LLGHTHAMMER(gamertag at release date) to SuperSleigher(gamertag after 11/20) to SLK AS SLN (gamertag before 12/1/12).

    Doesn't work like that anymore,

    Now,if a gamertag does not sign in for 5 years then it is released & made available.

    There probably wont be any more "mass releases" of gamertags anymore.

    there is no set release dates just you try when you try and if itsnavailable this avoids the mass taking of certain nanes

    Sorry, Microsoft does not accept requests to release gamertags. You'll just need to wait for the gamertag to be released. They don't tell anyone the date or time they will do such a thing because then people will just sit on a gamertag to sell it or something
    of the sort which is not allowed at all. This way it gives everyone an equal chance to get the gamertag when its' released.
