    Gamertag recovery on Xbox One?


    I set up last night and signed in with my account info and my gamertag changed to mixablelf. Why? I already have a profile with another tag. How do I migrate the Xbox live gold to the Xbox One?

    Unfortunately you won't be able to recover the account if the e-mail address went inactive. If the account was still on your XBOX 360 and you hadn't tried to recover it already then you would have been able to login to it and been able to change it that
    way. Unfortunately they haven't quite figured out a way to bring back inactive Windows Live ID's yet, and your data has been lost. There's really no easy to say it but you are unfortunately out of luck.

    my xbox was stolen recently and i am trying to recover my gamertag for my new console but because i had the xbox for so long the email i used to set up my gamertag years ago doesnt work any more (not sure why), is there some way for me to recover my profile
    still or do i just need to cut my losses and make a new one?

    any help is appreciated

    Are you saying that the initial e-mail you used to sign up has deleted itself due to inactivity?

    If so, it looks like you will be needing to start up a new account fresh, however, if I were you, I could give Phone Support a call, explain the situation of your Xbox being stolen and you would like to lock your Xbox LIVE Account permanently to prevent
    any further troubles, mainly if you have a credit card linked.

    I think microsoft has all it takes 3 months off to really be excluded, it is probably as inactive, if you try to access it should achieve, access support or wait for 3 months without access it to try the transaction desired. apologize for any errors in the
