    Hey, my name is BYF on Xbox. I was wondering if there was a process I could go through with Xbox where I could have them re-case my current gamertag BYF to Byf while keeping my original gamertag without the #? Maybe this could me a free option when changing your gamertag to re-case it?

    GTs might be case sensitive in order to register for the preview private forums. Have you re submitted your gamertag yet?

    They don't nor will waive the gamertag change fee I don't see anything wrong with the second one but the first is a violation of the terms of use

    And FYI it would be the preview of phone support not forum for that kind of stuff

    If they couldn't do it then no one can you will. Just have to pay for the name changw

    Casing of Gamertag

    Changing the tag will free it up for use again although it may not be instant. I'm not sure exactly how long it takes for that. I've heard anywhere from 24 hours to 45 days.

    As ngocphi stated above, if you would like to change your gamertag again, you will have to pay for the new change. Thanks for understanding!
