Gamertag profile

Hi just a quick question my wife brought my son a new xbox one for his birthday she traded in the old 360 but forgot about his profile as it has been set up for a long time my son has forgot the details so now can't access his account xbox and micro soft
are being useless what can I do

Gamer profile issue

Problem solved created a new sdult profile and linked it old gamertag. Then changed settings and now can play online!

 

Not much except for working with answers.microsoft.com you need 3 case reviews and depending how well you do with the reviews you then can goto escalations depending how close you are

If its minor details that are missing then the 3 case reviews from answers could have a case review by escalations at xbox

 

If he used random things like name like abcdefg or emails that is total junk you pretty much can forget about it

Important details must be matched

But if you talk to answers.microsoft.com and he be brutually honest there is a chance

 

Things like known friends on his friends list

The console serial number he created the profile on

Date of creation

Original email

10 achievements listed on his profile

Original isp and ip address during creation

Name ans address and ohone number

Little details can help and possibily replace slightly mismatched details

But if your answers are far in left field and he used random details you will need a miracle

 

You also have to remember threy are human and that they have a set of rules and requirements that have to be met. In order to find the rightful ownet they wont hand the account to just anyone
