    Gamertag Problems


    My username is and has stayed the same since I first made it. I have never changed it, it is very frustrating that it says I have and I cannot change it for free for the first time only. It says to pay 10 dollars in which I have still not even changed it
    once yet. Please help if you can restore that. I did not change the username.

    Gamer profile issue

    Problem solved created a new sdult profile and linked it old gamertag. Then changed settings and now can play online!

    edit, when i check on xbox.com it comes up as "Your request could not be completed at this time. This gamertag is not valid."

    I dont know if any of these people here can help you but if you say that you didnt change then it should be free. Try contacting xbox support about this issue they would be able to help you more so.

    The free name change is for when you start your account.You can change it once from a Microsoft generated tag to a personal one for free.

    The gamertag you are posting with is not a Microsoft generated tag so you have already used your free change.

    Any other changes will have to be paid for.

    Nothing can be done for you really. You might be able to call customer support, or pay to rechange it. Most likely it was user error and you just switched the cap on the letters.

    If you're being harrassed, then you should file a complaint and block communications with those gamers. There is no way to get a free gamertag change.

    if a gamertag is never connected to xbox live, ever, on a 360 it is a local profile. you cannot use that on other devices.

    you would need to connect it to live (xbox live free is fine) and then sign into it on the lumia
