    I've recently changed my name to AlphaGhost, but it was taken, so Xbox's new suffix system put a random number after my name, with a hashtag; It then ended up being AlphaGhost#7013. Back when I was changing it, I noticed a small box underneath the
    AlphaGhost one. It read 'Xbox games that don't support the new Gamertag system'. I thought "yeah, might as well make one for when I was playing an older game, so it doesn't read AlphaGhost7013", I then clicked the 'customize' button and made it 'AlphaGhost51'.
    I thought: "Hm, I suppose it's better than four numbers." then hit the done button. At this point, my name was, as I had it, AlphaGhost#7013 for the Xbox menu and AlphaGhost51 for the older games (that didn't support the new system, e.g. AC: Black Flag)
    My Gamertag had then been made, and I backed out of the menu. I then went to my profile to check whether my name was correct. It read AlphaGhost51. I was, and still am, confused. I had thought it to read AlphaGhost#7013. Did I do something wrong? Any help
    or suggestions?

    Nothing can be done for you really. You might be able to call customer support, or pay to rechange it. Most likely it was user error and you just switched the cap on the letters.

    If you're being harrassed, then you should file a complaint and block communications with those gamers. There is no way to get a free gamertag change.

    if a gamertag is never connected to xbox live, ever, on a 360 it is a local profile. you cannot use that on other devices.

    you would need to connect it to live (xbox live free is fine) and then sign into it on the lumia
