    Gamertag Problem


    I shifted to my new microsoft account few days ago so I decided to set up my Xbox app in pc .

    After choosing a gamertag it says option available but after completing the profile some numbers were added after my gamertag even though I deleted my last xbox account with same gamertag.

    Can anyone tell me why is this happening?

    Nothing can be done for you really. You might be able to call customer support, or pay to rechange it. Most likely it was user error and you just switched the cap on the letters.

    If you're being harrassed, then you should file a complaint and block communications with those gamers. There is no way to get a free gamertag change.

    if a gamertag is never connected to xbox live, ever, on a 360 it is a local profile. you cannot use that on other devices.

    you would need to connect it to live (xbox live free is fine) and then sign into it on the lumia
