    Gamertag PII


    My gamer tag is the same as my email address. I've read that this is considered personally identifiable information and I should be able to change my gamer tag. How do I make that happen? I don't even remember making my gamer tag. Must have accidentally
    made one when I made my ms account.

    My gamer tag has my initials in it

    That doesn't qualify as Personally-Identifiable-Information (PII), so you're not getting a free gamertag change.

    You can feel that way, but it still doesn't qualify as PII. The only scenario in which PII in a gamertag would present a risk is if contains your full name, such as first and last, your Microsoft Account (email address) and/or phone number.

    Not only that bbut you can always change your email at anytime lol not to mention noone would 've knowwn

    Hi, I was in a chat with an ea rep. They told me my email ***Removed PII***@msn.com has been deleted. This is not ideal.
