    I changed my Xbox gamertag when logging in to play Halo Infinite on PC. The gamertag shows up on the Xbox website and on my Xbox console but does not show up in Halo Infinite or on the Xbox PC app. I am still only seeing a randomly generated gamertag on Halo Infinite and the Xbox PC apps. But when I try to change it again, I am linked to the Xbox website, and it shows that my current gamertag is the one I changed it to 24 hours ago.

    Hi AndrewLake4, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Kindly sign out of your account both on the Xbox App and Microsoft Store then restart your PC before signing back in then try to launch the game again.

    If possible try logging out of your gamertag in the Xbox App on the PC then restart the PC. After that relog your tag into the Xbox App and see if that works. It may be an issue with the email change.

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this inconvenience with your gamertag.

    If you had just done this recently, I would suggest trying to restart your PC or perhaps sign out and then sign in.

    Sometimes it takes these extra steps to refresh the information that is supposed to come up with your account.
