Gamertag Name Forceably Changed

I am posting a claim to return my original gamertag. I have spoken to multiple reps who have agreed stating i have done nothing wrong. I have had an xbox live subscription for over decade and my gamertag was forced to be changed. It was Enslave for over
8 years and the records will show this. This morning when i woke up it was changed without my consent or warning. The original reason for this was because it was violating the “user agreement”, yet i when i searched for my original tag it show someone else
now owns it. How can someone else take my name and own it when i was forced to change it?

Sorry for the issue with the gamer tag. Unfortunately, no one here can do anything regarding the gamer tag. The only people that can do this are the enforcement team. You can file a case review on the
enforcement website, but they will be the ones to determine if you can get it back. If it was changed just today not sure how someone else already has it. It takes a while for a gamer
tag to be released.

For information on why it was changed and to see about submitting a case review, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com

Otherwise, unfortunately if it was somehow released and someone else took it, there is no way to get it back unless they were to change it.

Dude I would have reported you the moment we got in a match together. Now did you name say around for 10 years. Because that was record for having an offensive name tag.

Second it is XBOX'S home your free speech rights end the moment you log on.

No I don't. I honestly just find it amusing. And after having it for 8 or 9 years I figured it wasn't a problem. "Butt" is not a vulgar word at all, it just a part of the human body. I certainly don't find "***" offensive if someone is using it to refer
to themselves. If I was using it to insult someone else then that would be a different matter. Words are harmless, it's the context behind the words that make them good or bad. The name isn't meant to be offensive or in bad taste, it's meant to be amusing
and I have gotten several compliments about it over the years. I don't report anyone because of there gamertag, (well not yet anyway, i would if i honestly felt one deserved it) but for the most part I get amused by the interesting names people come up with.

Support does that but you're not supposed to anymore. If you want to change your name, you'd have to pay $10 for it.
