    Should Xbox go back to the original 16 character limit for Gamertag's? In my opinion, absoluelty. I wish to change mine but if I did, it would have to be 12 characters or less.

    Well no as it would break the system you are forgetting why it changed

    One people can have any name they want with a hash tag without a major update of the system

    Since it's is still 16 characters just 4 is reserved for hash tag if needed

    If not then it can't be used

    And you are still stuck with 12 you should've changed when you had a chance

    If you change it on a 360, you should still be able to use the old gamertag system and use more than 12 characters. Otherwise, there's no way around the limit.

    Community gamertag "www 360DF com" has hit the 100 friend limit. Hopefully this limitation is lifted in the future. Until then, this gamertag will function as our secondary community gamertag.
