    Hi All,

    My Gamertag is assigned to my hotmail address. I stopped playing my Xbox 360 back in 2009 but recently got an Xbox one that I'm over the moon with. After gracefully setting up the console and connecting seamlessly to my home network with no problems, I've
    signed in and activated my xbox gold membership. However whenever when browsing my gamertag on smartglass or via the internet it states "recently played" Gears of war and a ton of other out of date stuff and that was well back in 2009. Kinda confused! any
    help appreciated. Oh and its been this way for about 2-3 weeks now.

    Unable to add son to xbox one

    I have this exact same issue, spent hours yesterday on chat support, it has now been escalated. I can create new gamertag's on the console but dont really want to lose my sons existing gamertag.

    HELP - DLC not accesible

    Just to add to this, DRM based content is issued with two licenses, one to the console ID and one to the Gamertag that downloaded it, so to use this content on another console the Gamertag that downloaded it must be signed into Live, whereas all profiles can use it on the original console, unless you transfer the licenses with the DRM tool of course.

    Well I'm not so sure on your smart glass issue. I would try refreshing the app. If that does not work try logging out and then back in.

    And no one persons xboxone tiles are updating onto xbox.com, Not sure why but don't worry we are all with you on that one and it will hopefully work soon!

    Well this is embarrassing. I've managed to resolved the issue after properly sitting down and assessing exactly what I'm doing. After deleting the app I searched the app store for the smartglass only to find that there are two smart glasses one for the
    360 and one for the xbox one -_- as i've been so out of touch with console gaming over the past several years I didn't know this was also available on for the 360. I downloaded the Xbox one smartglass app and then it connected to my console then everything
    worked exactly as expected...

    GAMERTAG ISSUES

    There's a sticky post in this forum that explains that spacing and capitalization don't matter.

    I can't change my Gamertag (GT).

    Just because you can't friend request a GT doesn't mean it is available. First of all, all GT are tied to services like Zune or Games for Windows LIVE. If a GT doesn't exist on Xbox, it might be in use on one of those services. Also, spaces and capitalization
    are not considered when looking for available GTs. For example, "Major Nelson" is the same as "MajorNelson" is the same as "MaJoR nElSoN". Basically if the service says the GT isn't available, it isn't available.

    Failure to "add" tells you little. You can always try editing a Profile link with all the different spacing variants... Meet

    Solutions

    Solution 1: Restart your Xbox 360 console and download your profile again

    First, restart your console. Then, try to download your profile again. Here’s how:

    Download your Xbox LIVE profile

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller.

    1. Select Download Profile.
      Note If you don’t see Download Profile, it probably means you’re signed in to your profile. Press
      X to sign out.
    2. Enter the Windows Live ID that’s associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. If you don’t know your Windows Live ID or password,

      see Manage your Windows Live ID      .

      Note If your account is an Xbox LIVE child account, you have to use the parent’s Windows Live ID to download the profile.
    3. Select the storage device for your profile (for example, Hard Drive).

      Your profile will begin downloading. When the download is complete, you can choose whether to require a Windows Live ID password to sign in to your profile.
    Remember Password option

    The Remember Password option is off by default, which means you’ll be prompted for your Windows Live ID password when you sign in to your Xbox LIVE profile. Leave
    Remember Password unchecked if you want to be prompted for your Windows Live ID password when you sign in to your profile on this console.
    You should now be able sign in to this console using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

    Solution 2: Contact Xbox Support

    If the previous solution didn’t solve the problem, contact
    Xbox Support    .

    Call the Xbox Support number, IF your gamertag has personal identifiable info in it they will put a force GT change on the account
