GAMERTAG ISSUE [TAKEN BUT BY MYSELF]

Hi,

I have one issue with my xbox GT that I'm goint to explain.

Back in the original Xbox my Gamertag was ... To log in that Account I use my email "*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***" and everithing was fine... but I did not jump to 360 by it release date... and when my brother buy a 360 for me, he create a NEW account in the new Xbox
live using this same email ("*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***"), so now, in Xbox one I have the same email an this new gamertag Kechito.... so since I'm the original owner of the inactive user .... is there any how to recover it?

Gamertag Taken But Not Taken??

if the system says it's taken, then it's taken. The tag system is in use on other Microsoft services, so even if it's not in use on an Xbox, it may be in use somewhere else. The system also doesn't see things like spaces as making a gamertag unique. So while
you might look up "gamertag" and it doesn't show up, it might actually be in use as "gamer tag".

Gamertag taken but not taken????

They could be in use on the Zune, as that shares the 'gamertag' system.

Thanks for the support message.

It sounds like you have forgotten the email to the Microsoft Account associated with your Kechis Xbox Profile. Please go to
support.xbox.com/contact-us to get that email recovered from Xbox Official Support. A Microsoft Account can only have one primary alias and the primary alias can NOT be the same primary alias
on another Microsoft Account.

Should you have any other concerns, feel free to post back.

they told me the the gamertag could not be retrieved, because despite it is bound to mi actual email, it has been locked and it cannot be retrieved...

let me explain:

was bound to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** back in the original xbox... after several disconected years off this gamertag get locked. Then I jump to 360, was a gift from my brother, and he xbox did not recognize as an active account so it make me create a new one...

now is bound to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** and kechito is bount to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (the same email) and from the contact-us option they cannot do anything to unlock that gamertag... I love to be able to pay for a gamertag change but I will never be able to due to
microsoft bad gamertag management

Not sure how that can happen as a email account can only have 1 Xbox account tied to it, you can't create another account with an already used email account, you must have forgotten your details

it was because that account was disconnected for over 3 or maybe 4 years and it got something like frozen, the support guy that spoke to me said the same as you, but after he tried to recover it, he told me, the old gamertag was now locked and there is no
way to recover it so I'm *** and that gamertag is in the limbo
