Gamertag isn't allowed. What's wrong with my name?

Just a heads up, if the gamertag is not allowed by the system to go through, this usually means that some of the words from the gamertag are being filtered by the system because Xbox community uses different languages and some words are already being filtered due to the update.

This is also to avoid reports and to be fair to everyone.

Unfortunately, there is no way to choose a Gamertag that isn't allowed by the system. There are a few different reasons why a Gamertag might not be allowed, and I'm afraid there is no way to get around this.

Whenever I try to chance my gamertag through the website it just says the following Sorry, something went wrong. Try your gamertag again. I enter it again something I do it through xbox it says it already taken or isn't allowed if it isn't allowed why is that I do not see anything wrong with the gamertag bendyfan1010 do you?

Like someone else said wait a bit for the server to recognize the names not in use anymore

It's likely that the old gamertag hasn't been released yet. I would recommend you contact
Official Support
to see if they can assist further. It's an automated system and so it's possible that even though your tag has changed that you can see, the old one hasn't been released yet to allow it to be claimed again. It's not guaranteed that Official Support will
be able to help, but it's that or give it some time.
