Gamertag I want is not available but......

There's a gamertag that I want that seems to be not available right now. The problem is when I look up the profile using that tag there is no information of games played, friends list, or even captures. The only thing I see is a gamerscore. Is there any
way to see if this account is active? If not I would like to have the gamertag.

Hi there,

Gamertag requests are not an on request item. They are available when they are available.

Resetting a gamertag is also not an option. It only happens when the Enforcement Team gets involved.

no i meant i want someone's gamertag. I want the Gamertag Puck but the person who has it hasn't even bought an xbox one and im an avid player and i want it bad.

no i meant i want someone's gamertag. I want the Gamertag Puck but the person who has it hasn't even bought an xbox one and im an avid player and i want it bad.

Since the tag is on the system there would be no way for you to use it, inactive or not. You would have to wait for either the original owner to change the tag to something else or if he does not sign into it for 5 years it will be freed up.

You will need to wait that the gamertag that you want to use it's available. For that the gamertag don't need to login to in 5 years. After that the gamertag will be available!
