Gamertag hate

I have had Xbox live for 3 years now with the same gamertag and have always had issues with other players sending hate messages or cussing me out in game because my gamertag is stupid and dumb for having my name in It. My friend recently posted a forum and
enforces were quick to let him have a gamertag change for free. I was hoping I could too. Thanks!

If someone could help me that would be great. Ok I am receiving a lot of hate from people at my school and online about my gamertag. It is . I get hate cause of the Games at the end of it. I'm old it's stupid and ***. i cant afford new one So
could someone help me out please?

 

Sorry that you are receiving hate the best option for you would be too set it where non friends cant send you messages you will have too pay the 10$ if you really want too change your current Gamertag

There is no free name changes and no requesr for a namechange wouldve been approved by the moderators anyways

My guess you are refering to the 7sins posts which you really should read the end of it

Its fake and puts your reputation for making bad reports for following a bad social engineering template which has been labeled as fake by the 7sins

A forced name change only occurs whek a name violates the tou

And even then you dont grt a customized name

 

I wouldn't be suprised if his friend did get a gamertag change as I have 1 free change sitting on my account atm. No idea why people say that there are no free changes when it clearly states on my account you can change your gamertag once for free.

no you only get a free change A: when you create a new account and it has to be created on the system and the system auto generates a name for you and you only have 30 days to change it after that it costs 10 bucks. B: given a forced name change for violating
the code of conduct and you would still have to pay to change it to something else.

 

My account has like 8 or 9 yrs tenure and isn't a new account nor was it an auto-generated name. I have had the option for a free name change for as long as I can remember so I have no idea why my account seems to be different from the norm. :?

 

It may be a glitch on the page because you were able to take advantage of that years ago. However, the service has been updated so that any gamertag change beyond the 30 day limit requires payment.

I have checked that section and it shows the same message for me as well. I suspect it will do the same for everyone.
