Gamertag has been changed

    Gamertag has been changed?

    You've been issued a forced name change.Your gamertag was obviously against the code of conduct.

    Doesn't matter how long you had it,it was only just reported & deemed inapropiate.

    Your tag has to be rated "E" for everyone,even if it is an album title..

    Gamertag has been changed?

    First time signing onto Xbox since around this time yesterday and my Gamertag was changed from Ithyphallics to this. There's no activity in my Bank Account or any Emails from Microsoft so i'm not sure if it was changed due to it being "Offensive." It's an
    album title from the band Nile and i've had it for atleast 3 years. Any help?

    What was the tag before the change? If it was deemed offensive then enforcement would have issued a forced name change , unfortunately you end up with a randomly generated tag and it'll cost you about a tenner to change it to something you prefer.

    Oh dear , don't matter how long you've had it , it was inevitable an FNC was gonna be issued .

    If you do decide to spend the cash and change the tag you have now it might be an idea to choose one that is , or hints at being offensive or inappropriate . Too many FNC's could result in an account ban , losing all your paid for content , and any Gold
    time you have left .

    Yeah I can see why that would of got a FNC. Be sure to stick to the ToU / CoC from here on out as mentioned above. Multiple FNC's can result in a service suspension.

    Please contact phone support if you believe that someone has gained access to your account in an unauthorized way. Once you're at the contact us page click Billing & Memberships,
    under Account Management click Account Compromised/Stolen, and then finally Request a Call.

    This usually means your gamertag was deemed inappropriate and issued a name change.
