Gamertag got banned

Hi, I logged on today to play destiny with my buddies, and I noticed my gamertag has been changed. I do not know why the name Testtiiee got banned. The reason i have that name is because i am a firm support of testicular cancer.
I fully support it, and should not be penalized for it. The testicles are a part of the human body. I am extremely irritated with the ban. I am just to raise awareness of this condition. Thank you

Will i get banned using this gamertag?

I have the gamertag "JHAD EL SALIM" on my xbox one for about 2 months now. I saw a tweet from gamespot that someone got banned on psn for using the gamertag iJihad. Will i get banned on xbox? Please let me know because if i will get banned i want to tell to microsoft that will let me change the gamertag for free againClick to expand...

Sorry to hear that this happened to you! Regarding forced gamertag changes:

When a forced Gamertag change is imposed, the system automatically assigns a new Gamertag to the affected account, much in the same way a system-generated Gamertag is provided when you first sign up for Xbox Live.

If a player is unhappy with the assigned Gamertag and wishes to change it, he or she may purchase a new Gamertag through the standard Gamertag change process. However, the Gamertag that received the forced change will remain unobtainable.

A forced Gamertag change may be issued if a Gamertag visually resembles, sound likes, represents, hints at, abbreviates, or otherwise insinuates any of the following:

Profane words or phrases

Topics or content of a sexual nature

Hate speech

Controversial religious topics

Notorious people or organizations

Sensitive current or historical events

my gamertag is and i got banned because i asked someone nicely to switch character in for honor and i got banned. i did get legit banned before but there were a reason in it

Even if that gamertag has been inactive for an extremely long time? I tried to contact the owner on several occasions and I am starting to think it got banned. One of my other accounts got banned and I couldn't use that gamertag ever again.

If i remember from one of your previous posts the gamertag you want was yours but that account got banned.

What would be the point of banning your account only to give you the gamertag back?

ok, got home and checked Forza Horizon 3, ban is no longer there. I would still like to know what I did to get the ban, that way I won't do whatever got my gamertag banned in the first place. Thanks.
