    You can try and contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them your old gamertag and if they can verify ownership of the account they can give you the email address that is associated with that gamertag.

    Its the same email address I have been using for nearly 10 years and suddenly when I log in the gamertag has changed. Have emails from xbox to that email address from years ago with links to my original gamertag
