Gamertag Forced name change randomly

My gamertag "Slavery" Was randomly changed to "". I woke up one morning and signed into my account and noticed that my gamertag had been changed? Im not sure what was wrong with my name? Can it please be changed back to Slavery?

Sorry, but support is incorrect about how forced name changes work. If your gamertag violates the code of conduct the enforcement team will give you a forced name change by changing your gamertag to a randomly generated one. They do not give you the option
to confirm it. You will have to pay to change your gamertag again.

Need a Gamertag Change

Just to clarify, the enforcement team issues forced name changes if they determine your gamertag violates the code of conduct. While it's not recommended to have your name in your gamertag, it's not a violation. So they would not issue a forced change. Even
if they do issue a change, they will issue a randomly generated tag and you would still have to pay to change it something you want.

Your gamertag was against the code of conduct & you have been issued a forced name change,if you want to change it again then you will need to pay but you will not get your old gamertag back.

To many forced name changes will result in the account being permanently banned.

More than likely your tag was changed because it went against the ToU and CoC of the Live service that you agreed to when you created your account.

Do not create a Gamertag, profile content, Avatar content, in-game content, videos or any other content that may offend other users. This includes, without limitation, anything related to or suggestive of:

o Sensitive current or historical events

If you want to change your gamertag then you'll need to pay the $10 to do so but be warned, changing it to something that would go against the rules could have other consequences ranging from having the tag changed again to having the tag banned from Live
altogether.

When i was forced a gamertag change it then let me change it again for free to something that i chose to, are you sure it wont let you make a free gamertag change now its been a forced change?

They stopped giving out free name changes when someone received a forced name change years ago due to people abusing that system.

The rules are now that if you receive a forced gamertag change you are given a randomly generated tag for free & if you want to change that then you have to pay.
