Gamertag Forced Changed

Hello,

My gamertag was forced changed from SUPERPIMPJUICE1 to FaintPup1361097. I was also never alerted by this change. I am also unclear on why my gamertag was changed. According to my profile my reputation was on a "good" status. As well I do not cheat nor am
I rude to any other players. Almost all the time I am in a party chat with my fiends. I do not see my name as "offensive" nor am I acting rude in the social environment. If at all possible I would like to have my name placed back, or at the very least have
my account credited $9.99 so I can change my name. I don't see how it is fair that I would have to pay to change my name from a random name generated. I have been with Xbox Live and purchasing products for over 10 years. Please assist me

Any enforcement actions like this are actually handled by the enforcement team at enforcement.xbox.com

If eligible you can file for a case review there.

The enforcement team does not monitor these forums.

As far as the gamer tag change being forcibly changed that decision was made by the enforcement team when it was reported that it was in violation of the code of conduct and they would be the ones to determine if you can get it back or not and if not then
per the terms of use you would have to pay for a new gamertag. since the original one was in violation of the code of conduct.

hi my gamertag has been reported for violations of terms and conduct. Ive had the gamertag for almost 2 years now and had no issues with it or anyone else. Im an upcoming streamer and the gamertag is apart of my reputation and mainly my job.

If i could have the option to have it back that would be super, but even the case that my name has been changed and i now have to spend money on changing it to something else seems a bit steep. Concidering I didn’t want it changed in the first place.

I was just curious on if you could help me gain it back over the fact that it is apart of me. Or atleast have another free gamertag change so i can move on.

Because to my followers and friends im known as ([Mod Removed]) not ()

I have spoken to tech support and they said the have forwarded you my side of the story.

On another not i do believe i was reported by someone who was rather upset with me for no reason.

THIS forum to get an official answer from the enforcement team. However your warning came in the form of the Code of Conduct that all players must agree to before playing on Xbox LIVE.

• If you create a Gamertag that has been determined to violate the Terms of Use or Code of Conduct, the system will automatically choose a new Gamertag for you.
  

 

Your gamertag was found to be in violation. You will not receive a credit to change the name. You'll have to pay for it I'm afraid. Your warning was the Code of Conduct you agree'd to when you made your account by the way. You may not find the name offensive,
but it contained a phrase that was deemed inappropriate for Xbox LIVE.

Also, buying products for 10 years does not entitle you.

 

They got me too mate. And now I'm stuck with because of this crap

 

maybe you two should keep it clean then

the rules are clear on name policys

it must be rated E for everyone

next time use common sense

There is no way to request a forced name change. The enforcement team will only investigate your account if someone has filed a complaint on your account and they will only give a forced change if your gamertag violates the
code of conduct. Even if they did issue a forced change, they would give you a randomly generated tag. You would not be able to choose your new tag without paying.

 

Hi enforcement team. My gamer tag has been involuntarily changed. Original was BigDaddyHotGue and now the seemingly randomly generated QuickCalf913436. Have had original BigDaddyHotGue for years on XB360 and since day one of XBONE. Have never had a complaint
and excellent rating on all platforms. Could I trouble you for a review and decision to revert back to my original please?

Yes my name was changed from SpaceL0rd_mthfk to ... what was so offensive about my name? Also very smart of Microsoft to do this on the day I've been billed for a another month. That is not cool.. shame on you guys.

Your name must be rated E at all times and hiding it by replacing or removing letters does not hide the violation
