Gamertag Exploit

Hello, I’ve been trying to get this resolved for a little bit now, but someone used an exploit to have my gamertag basically but I still technically have it. If you search my gamertag (shisui), it will show there profile and it has my gamertag attached to it (there real GT is lazykitten773). And a few days later Xbox spaced out my tag. The person that did this exploit even messaged me asking if I wanted to buy the exploit so it would go back to normal. I didn't respond but I reported this to support, sent screenshots and nothing happened. And they weren’t able to fix the problem or even unspace it for me since it won’t let me do it myself? Any help?

Please use the report abuse features provided by Xbox to report this user if you believe they are in violation of Xbox’s community standards. It is also possible that this user “replicated” your username by changing a lowercase L to an uppercase i, or vice versa.

From there, Microsoft and Xbox’s enforcement team will review the user’s account and take action if needed. In the meantime, changing your gamertag can be changed **once** for free, and future changes cost $10 USD, I believe.

It wouldn't be an exploit. The gamertag system was updated a couple of years ago so people can use the same gamertag now. There are actually a lot of people using shisui as a gamertag.

It is an exploit, otherwise Xbox wouldn’t recognize that account having the gamertag over mine, the person that actually owns it😹even reported the message of the person trying to sell me an exploit and they still active and btw still hasn’t been fixed, reported that also to Xbox support multiple times, this is why support is seen as a joke, can’t fix the smallest problems.

Though most of the time it is due to the console being modded or having used some form of save exploit ... though the save exploit generally kills the Gamertag and not the console

Judge

If he is going to exploit glitches, it would be wise to have him not use your GamerTag. I'd try and advise him personally not to do it but I can't tell you what to do. Just know that glitch exploiting CAN get you banned.
