Gamertag Error

I was wondering if I cold have a gamertag that I've been wanting for quite some time, It isnt currently used but when I go to change my gamertag it doesnt allow me to change my current tag to the one I want.

Ok so I had to reset my fitness acct due to a CDN error after I added my husband who is on the same Xbox GLITCH!!! Sucks cuz I was like fit enthusiast anyway can you please add me gamertag squirlymedic69 we can challenge each other to get fit. have a nice day

 

DLC won't work unless connected to the net?!

This is wrong!!!

You DO NOT have to be connected to Live to play your DLC.

I took my 360 into work last friday for a party, and it was not connected to the net in anyway, the game was Rockband, and we could play all my downloaded tracks.

DLC is linked to your gamertag.

As you say the console is the same, your son must sign in on a different gamertag, and thats your problem.

Even thought it is stored there on the console, you can only use it with the gamertag you downloaded it with.

If your son is signing in on your gamertag, on the same console, then their must be some error, cos i can play my DLC without being signed into live.

 

If the system says it's not available it's not available

Keep in mind it may not be the same variation or you aren't using the right service

Searching for a friend with the name won't work and there would be an infinite amount of possibilities

Ngoc phi or Ng ocPhi won't show on the friends search but the system will tell you you cannot use them

Because the system doesnt take into account case or spaces as different from another name but the spelling has to be exact to be added as a friend

You will just have to be more creative with the spelling like numbers or different letters to replace the spelling of the name

 

The system is setup this way to reduce confusion with multiple spacing and cases variations and the privacy of the user

Unless you know them you shouldn't be adding random people
