    Hi you made me change my gametag due to violating code of conduct which it shouldn't of let me have the gamertag in the first place but when you reset my gamertag it's making me pay again which I don't agree with i spoke to Microsoft advisor and they said
    they help me get it changed for free here's my defence number and email

    Does anyone have a problem with my Gamertag?

    Just curious if the gametag MyKneeGrows82 offends anyone and why? i have been a loyal x-box player for over a decade, and suddenly after thousands of people seeing my gamertag, and not having a problem with it, enforcement changes my gamertag, which by the way does not include any of the things that they say it shouldn't, so am i being singled out as an example? i don't see how showing proudly my race in my gamertag is a problem. Any thoughts on whether or not this should be possible for enforcement to do when the gamertag is in violation of none of the requirements of the enforcement&policies agreement whatsoever.

    You would need to post here from an official answer from the enforcement team -

    But it doesn't matter whether the support member you spoke to said it was offensive or not. It is up to the enforcement team to determine if a name violates the code of conduct. If they determine it does, they will change it and you will have to pay to change
    it to something else.

    However, they are only there to tell you why they have changed your tag. Xbox support is incorrect that you can get a free change. There is no way to get a free change. The forced name change policy is part of the code of conduct which you agreed to.

    Also, you should not post your email address or reference numbers on a public forum.

    You need to file a complaint on the gamertag and the enforcement team will look into it. Selling gamertags is not allowed.

    The enforcement team are a group of real people so it's not just an algorithm that determines a forced gamertag change. It can take a few days to receive a response. However, I can see the enforcement team upholding their decision on that one. It doesn't
    matter if you've had a gamertag for 10 minutes or 10 years. If it violates the code of conduct, the enforcement team can change it.

    Nobody in the forums are going to be able to force a gamertag change. That is only done from the Xbox Live Policy Enforcement Team. Have a friend file a complaint against you for the gamertag then wait. Its up to the enforcement team if they force the change
    or not.

    The problem is that it was the enforcement team that changed your gamertag due to complaints that it was a violation of the code of conduct. and with it being an enforcement action (forced gamer tag change) through the enforcement team there would be a charge
    to change it to a gamer tag of your choice.

    You can try and appeal the gamertag change by signing into your account at enforcement.xbox.com and filing a case review

    The enforcement team does not monitor these forums. they only handle things through their website.
