Gamertag enforced change

I've just received an enforced gamer tag change because someone who I was doing better than on GTA 5 reported me. My original name Was "DikkiMokka" which has been my online gaming name for years across different platforms and online forums. Now I have been
given the name "" which as far as I'm concerned is as offensive as they get, considering i have been gaming for over 35 years and makes me look like some kind of massive grooming perv.

Has anyone out there advice on how I can get my old name back or if this is not possible get this ridiculous new name edited without any cost to me?

You were warned.It was the code of conduct you agreed to when you started your account.

As Tye said,the word doesn't just mean "hot dog or sausage",it has another meaning as well & that is why it was changed.

You will have to pay to change it to a personal gamertag as that is the rules,you will not get a free name change.

my gamertag was changed last night, i thought my account had been hacked so I contacted the support they have told me it was changed as my tag was reported as offensive?!! midgetgaming101 is not offensive!! i want to change the new tag you have given me
but it says ive got to pay to do it??? im not paying for it and want it changing back to my chosen tag.

You would need to make a post in the below forum section. The PET (Enforcement Team) will respond to you there with the reasoning behind your forced gamertag change. Alternatively you can check the email address tied to your account as correspondence will
have been sent there.

Please note that threads in that specific section are reviewed before they are published so you may not see your thread appear straight away. I will point out that the PET wont enforce against people for simply playing better then others.

Thanks for that, I know they don't enforce for being better I just know the kid complained because I was doing far better than him in a 1 on 1 match

I have a similar problem! I changed my gamertag a few months back- When I logged in a month or so ago , the gamertag i associate with my email account was changed ! What I'm asking is, can I go back to using my original gamertag or do I use another email
account with this same gamertag attached !

 

If your gamertag was changed by the enforcement team you cannot use that gamertag again as it violates the code of conduct
