    My son is having the same kinda problem.....we went to go sign in on xbox.com to see his downloads history and this (CLEARLY NOT HIS) random account/tag was calming to be him. This other account is at a level 1 and 0 stars and has no game achievements listed
    so he knew right away something was not right. he is like totally freaking out cause he has a lot of progress and achievements and saves and what not, he thinks someone hacked his account. but if that were so, wouldn't you think the 1st thing the hackers would
    do is spend or compromised his $ balance?????

    IDK im just was confused and my son is real upset.

    do you think my situation is similar to the first post? we are maybe using the wrong email address???? please someone help!!! THANK YOU

    Gamertag does not match

    Hi,

    No one has "hacked you" or anything of the sort. You're logging in with the wrong e-mail to Xbox.com. You're supposed to use the e-mail that's associated with your gamertag. If your gamertag is different than what your logging into then please go to your Xbox
    360 Dashboard > Settings > Account > 3rd Tab (Account Information) > Account Security > Look to the right, that's the e-mail you should be using to login to Xbox.com as well as register for any sort of Halo Global Championship tournament.

    Make sure to take a look at that e-mail carefully as you might have made some sort of spelling mistakes or the e-mail might be completely different.

    By the way, my reputation on Xbox live is 5 stars, but as you can see in this forum it not only has the wrong tag but it says 3 stars.... >_>
