Gamertag didn't update

I changed my Gamertag and was charged for it but it does not display my new Gamertag anywhere.Not on the website,not on Smartglass,not on my Xbox One.It all shows my old Gamertag.I have tried
hard resetting my console and even deleting/redownloading my profile but to no avail.

Help?

Rewards mission didn't update

Hi,

I bought Resident Evil 7 in pre-order in January 13 and my rewards mission wasn't properly updated.

Hey there Karza,

If your gamertag still has not updated after 24 hours. I would highly recommend to try to change it through your console. I'm sure that you won't be charged as long as you put the same gamertag that you have claimed online. This mostly happen when you attempt
to change the GT on the website. Some kind of issues on the server not fully updating. Had a similar situation before that's why I know. Support instructed me to do that and it work well.

Also, they didn't lie. The free gamertag change is the one you change the appointed name when you first sign up. So if you changed that one, there's your free change. But as Smwutches just mentioned, they've updated the gamertag system.

Oh, I though you performed a clean reinstall for minecraft
In this case dont press restore/reset for Minecraft launcher to avoid losing worlds

Please try this :
Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then do this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore/reset

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app and Minecraft launcher > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore/reset, open the app and try again.

Finally do this :

Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.
