GamerTag changed without Notice, policy Enforcment team???

I signed in today and all of a sudden my gamertag was changed. I dont know why it was changed but after chatting with support they told me to post on the forum to try to straighten the issue out with the enforcment team. I no longer have access to the E-mail
account that is linked to my live account and apparently you cant change the e-mail account that your live account is connected to without opening a new account. But back to the GamerTag issue, i did nothing wrong and i have had that GamerTag for nearly 2
years without a problem and now all of a sudden there is a problem, i just would like to know why it was changed and be given a different gamer tag than what it was changed to without having to pay the $9.99.

Nope you can goto the suspension forums for inquiry but with that name you arent going to get an appeal

Maybe you should read the rules more less likely to lead to further punishment with names you create

Fyi your name must be rated E for everyone no matter the excuse

Forced gamertag changes only happen if the tag violates the Code of Conduct.

That you had the tag for 2 years does not mean anything.

If it violates the rules then it will be changed.

If you want a other tag you have to pay for it sorry.

As HaloJolly said,doesn't matter how long you've had the tag,it was only just reported,investigated & found to be against the code of conduct.

If you want to change it then you will have to pay.

If you want to know why it was changed, you'll need to post in the forum Daft linked. Your warning is the code of conduct that you agreed to which also has the forced name change policy. Too many people abused the old policy where they were given free changes,
so it was changed.

Hey there, the Policy Enforcement Team's action in regards to the first gamertag was a forced name change. If they keep issuing forced name changes to the same person, they may issue an account suspension. There's a no 'naming and shaming' policy on the
forums; the Policy Enforcement Team won't see your post. Be sure to file a complaint again.
