    Gamertag changed when it wasn't really that offensive?


    My gamertag wasn't even that offensive. Why did it get changed? I want a refund for this. I'm not going to pay another $10 for my gamertag. I recently just payed for the ither one. I would really like a gamertag change or something. This isn't right.

    How many times have you changed your gamertag?

    I've changed mine twice and the second time was just to change one letter in it because it wasn't available back when I originally changed it. So that really did feel like a waste of money so I don't think I'll ever bother changing it again.

    My gamertag has been changed!

    i wasn't notified that my gamertag was deemed offensive or inappropriate, it was just changed. And when i brought this issue to Xbox, they told me there was no link between my old gamertag and my email. So they pretty much said I had from
    the start.

    I wasn't offered a chance to change it either, its just giving me the option to pay for a tag change

    If you felt that your gamer tag was truly not offensive and not violating the Code of Conduct then you can go to your Enforcement
    History     and request a Case Review to try and overturn the decision. If the decision is upheld then it will not be changed back and you will have no choice but to pay for another gamer tag keeping in mind the rules of the code of conduct. Hope this helps.

    This isn't in my enforcement history though. And I looked through my Xbox reputation and it shows 0 complaints about everything against my account, including gamertag reports. So if I had no reports against my gamertag, why did it get changed?

    If it isn't showing in your Enforcement History and you are serious about disputing the name change because it doesn't violate the Code of Conduct, then I'd recommend creating a new thread in the 09 - Xbox 360 Account Suspensions & Console Bans forums and
    make sure to specifically mention in your post that there is no notice in your Enforcement History which is why you are posting there.

    Habs, You are not understanding, I was forced to change my Gamertag because it was rude, So I Did, few hours later I was suspended and forced to changed my gamertag again even though it wasn't offensive. I understand that considering what my previous gamertag
    was that you may believe I have been suspended for obvious reasons but I don't understand why I would be forced to change my gamertag twice in one night and then be suspended for a week.

    -I understand the Gamertag before the second could be offensive to some, but the gamertag I chose after that wasn't, unless you have been looking at my gamertag for basically hours on end and figuring out any reason for it to be offensive.
