Gamertag changed, what can I do?

I don't get why we are not allowed to change Gamertags for free all the time whenever we want tbh. I guess Xbox Live just aint for me anyway, controlled environment.

Really sad that you cannot undo Xbox Live on a profile. Major design flaw tbh. I was excited about Xbox One but no way I will invest into that anymore.

 

At least Xbox allows you to change your name. Other services don't.

 

I have yet to come across a service that doesnt allow that.

 

Then you are haven't been t using other services psn and Wii do not allow name changes

Most services including world of warcraftw charge over 10dollars per change and have zero tolerance for racist and notorius figures

The correct term for a leader in Germany is Herr or chancellor

If you live in Germany you would know it's a taboo

As it was only ever used by a certain In Germany, the isolated word Führer is usually avoided in political contexts, due to its intimate connection with Nazi institutions and with Hitler personally

Wikipedia is incorrect on this one imo, the word [Mod Removed] is very common in Germany and is used for all kind of things.

This thread is about a solution for a problem tho. There appears to be a program called
[Mod Removed] that can be used to transfer savegames between profiles. I guess I will have to resort to that.

Sucks to hear about PSN and Wii U not allowing name changes, I will certainly not look into playing on there.

 

As a resort you should read the terms of use instead of googling reasons why the word is used

I Actually have German friends and worked for a German company

The said title was only ever used for one person and is taboo on all servers along with the party itself

The party is actually banned in Germany

And any hate msgs are frowned hard upon

Not to mention mentioning that part of German history is an insult to most Germans

I suggest you quit while you are ahead

Using the said program will only earn you a perm suspension of your account and forfeiture of all downloads dlc

Well I live in Europe, in a country next to Germany and I can assure that you are incorrect. The word
[Mod Removed] appears everywhere in modern society and is used to indicate people and even objects that are in charge, for example within a company. In my country the word is also often used for the same purpose, when I was in the army we also
used to call our Sergeant Major [Mod Removed]. I don't get where you found all that misinformation that you are spreading. Like I said, my nickname has nothing to do with hate messages and does not refer to a person or policital party.

I also think the naming policy is ridiculous and so is the account management system of Xbox Live. Like I said, I already decided to quit using it and will not go online anymore with the console. I will create a new offline profile with a name I desire and
use [Mod Removed] to transfer my savegames there, I don't see why I should not be allowed to do that.

I think you should stop defending the policies because you are honestly making yourself look not so smart.

Maybe you should read the code of conduct more carefully.

Using unautherised software,like Horizon will result in you being banned from xbox live.

 

I doubt you live in Europe because you would know that I am correct. If other people still are offended by it well ok then I will change my name for them, but atleast give me the chance to do it for free.

If they want to ban me because I use a program with legitimate reason then let them go ahead, Sony will probably welcome me (and lots of other people that hear about this) with open arms.

I don't read no code of conduct, I have better things to do with my time, dunno about you? I expect normal common sense from it, if that doesn't appear to be the case then I will simply stop using the service, no problem.

Noone but a certain party type would ever glorify it and even then that party type is actually banned in most countries

So I highly doubt you are using a commonly used word

 

Whybdont you use common sense noone likes nortious groups that are known in the history of Europe as the mass murderer of millions

I'm sorry but the association that you are making between the word [Mod Removed] and Adolf Hitler is while being understandable not necessary. Here the word is accepted and that's why I use it.

Can we please stop this discussion, we will not agree in the end anyway and this thread was not about this in the first place.

At the end of the day the word is not allowed & no matter how you try to justify it that word cannot be used in your gamertag.
