    My Gamertag "[Mor Removed]" was recently changed due to "Inappropriate Content". I recieved the very nicely copy/pasted notice saying;

    "This account's Gamertag contained inappropriate content. This content may include profanity, sexual topics, hate speech, controversial religious topics, references to notorious people or organizations, sensitive current or historical events, or any content
    designed to sound like, look like, reference, or allude to these topics. This account's Gamertag was issued a forced change. A new system-generated Gamertag was automatically assigned to this account, and the Gamertag that received enforcement will remain

    My Gamertag has only recieved 1 report, and it was probably some troll on Halo 5 angry that I stomped his face in. I'd also like to point out that my name did not break any of what is said above, and that my Gamertag is a play on my nickname. After having
    my Gamertag for over 5 years, I'd think if it needed changed it would have been done a long time ago.

    I've seen others in the same boat that I am in, and find this kind of treatment towards long time paying customers appalling. This issue wouldn't be so bad if I had a history of reports for the name, but getting it changed after a single report on it is
    absolutely rediculous. Enforcement needs to get rid of this crappy automated system, as it only benefits trolls.

    That i have already done, i read the reason behind my gamertags removal and all it says is the copy and pasted "This account's gamertag was inappropriate." And HOW exactly is it inappropriate?

    As for filing a case review they make me take a QUIZ, a gosh darn quiz. I fail ONE question and have to restart, i now have to wait 24 hours before i can file another. Pathetic system.

    The enforcement system is not automated.

    You may of had the tag for 5 years but it has only now been reported,investigated & found to breach the CoC.

  5. They could have fooled me. If they're actually looking into cases personally, then I'd like to see a personal response instead of this copy/pasted crap. Copy/Pasted responses scream automation, especially when the response is so vague.

  7. That's simply not true Daft. The system is built on automation it's not a secret and anyone with an understanding of basic mathematics would quickly realize that it would be mathematically impossible to personally review every single report filed on Xbox
    Live.

    What you're doing is spreading unfounded half truths that are fed to you from the enforcement site. Below is a link to the Unicorn himself explaining the system in its early stages.



    You tend to have an antagonistic and argumentative attitude when addressing paying Xbox Live customers on these forums and quite frankly, as an ambassador, you should be holding yourself to a much higher standard. People are quite dissatisfied with the
    lack of transparency and customer service. Not to mention the hypocritical double standard that is placed upon them. Understandably, it is difficult for people to understand how it is acceptable to purchase and play games that include significant amounts
    of content that are in violation of the Code of Conduct only to be suspended/banned, for using similar language.

    Oh.it's on youtube so it must be true.

    You can think what you like about me,i really don't care.

    I'm quite sure that after nearly 5 years as an ambassador if the way I do things was a problem I would of been kicked out of the program by now.

    It doesn't matter what age rating the game you play is,the fact is that xbox live is rated "E" for everyone & any game you buy with an online mode does clearly state that it is not monitored by the ESRB rating system.

    The fact is that EVERY report is investigated by a real person,if you don't want to believe that then so be it.

    Of course data is collected automatically but it is all reviewed by a person. If the entire system was automated enforcement action wouldn't take so long to happen.

    Bootblack mentions that it is all reviewed by an agent.

    Show me where it says that the Xbox Live is rated "E" for Everyone. It certainly doesn't list a rating for Xbox Live itself on the esrb.org site. Considering that Xbox Live offers content with a myriad of ratings that range from "Everyone" to "Mature"
    how would it be rated as a whole?

    If you are going to say something is a "fact" then you should probably provide supporting evidence by citing your sources.

    Well technically that is correct. As multiple complaints against the same person are merged into one, as shown in the video that Richard shared.

    Though also in the video that he shared it is mentioned that while complaints against the same person may be merged, all complaints against a person are investigated.
