    Gamertag changed but not displaying on PS4


    Hi,

    I linked my Microsoft Account to my PlayStation4 and it automatically generated a gamertag for me. I changed this Gamertag and the gamerpic through Xbox online and now when I log into my PS4, the old tag still shows up and the picture is blank.

    How do I get it to reflect the updated changes?

    I have signed out/in and restarted the System.

    It can take up to 48 hours for a gamertag to change. Be patient, and if it still hasn't changed after the 48 hours, then contact Xbox support

    Time seems to have done the trick, as my gamertag is now showing correctly overnight. Thanks!

    No. Gamertag change does nothing except change the display name of your gamertag. That's it.
