Gamertag changed and pack got deleted?

Hi. I hope someone can shed light on this topic.

My Nintendo Switch kicked me out of my microsoft account earlier today and had a heck of a time logging back in.

I'm pretty sure I've already changed my Gamertag to match my Switch account and when I finally logged back in, it displayed my old Gamertag. On top of that, just the other day, I've purchased one of the Star Wars packs which also disappeared. Right now, I'm not too happy about that so I hope somebody can help find a fix.

I can confirm this is my account that's associated with my switch because it still has my friends, and the same files I was playing on were still there. Unfortunately, again, my star wars pack disappeared but the files are still there. Although the Star Wars packs are currently 33% off, I'd hate to repurchase them as well as once again change my gamertag.

Did you try checking your Microsoft account order history to see if it matches with your previous account?

Star Wars pack appears in your order history as well?

If its the same account the best option will be get in touch with Microsoft support to assist you further on this

It's not possible to delete gamertags. If you wanted to change the gamertag two times you would need to pay 1,600 Microsoft Points (800 Microsoft Points for each gamertag change). So first you'd change the gamertag of SrTommy to something else, and then
you'd be able to change SrTommy1981 to SrTommy. It's not possible to do this without paying as gamertags cannot be deleted.

You would have to just change it again. You will have to pay for another change so I'd get your brother to pay for it.

kinda same issue here.

so two years ago i deleted my ms account now two years late got a xbox one and created a new account but now i want my old gamertag back so thinking my old account had been deleted i tried to change my gamertag to my old gamertag but got a message that
"that gamertag has already been taken" then i searched about that gamertag and found out that my old account hadnt been deleted yet and then when i tried to log in to my old account it said " there is no account by that email address". so i guess that old
ms account got deleted but not the xbl account as i can still see my old gamertag,acchivement,account description and all.so is there any way to recover that old xbl account or the gamertag now by deleting that old xbl account so that gamertag be available
to put in my new account?

im searching for a solution too.let me know if u find one.

It's because the gamertags got deleted off of the servers. If you try to add the gamertag on your Xbox, it will say it doesn't exist which clearly means that it is available, but If you change your gamertag to that gamertag you want, it will say that it's
taken.Trying to buy, sell, or trade accounts over Xbox LIVE is against the Code of Conduct. Some place else is legal.
