Gamertag changed after being forced to download profile.

This morning i was forced to download my profile on my xbox 360. It would not load until i did. Once i logged back in my gamertag had been changed. The name that i was given is somewhat lame and i want to change it since i was not given the option to choose
myself.

Cant download profile

I had a forced gamertag change about a week ago so i changed it and i am unable to download my profile to my xbox....it also still shows shows my old gamertag on xbox.com still...my gamertag is LordChipsterr Can someone please tell me whats going on

 

Oh you can choose another name at anytime but as per the terma of use and code of conduct you will have to 0ay and keep the name clean and rated e for everyone

You will have to pay if you want to change your gamertag.

 

So because someone decided that my gamer tag of over 2 years needed changed i now have to either live with the lame name that i was provided with or pay to change it.

 

How about letting me change it to something i prefer for free. If it still is considered offensive to some over sensitive person then they can remove it and charge me the $10

 

As per the terma of use and code of conduct if you had followed the rules it wouldnt be an issue

Since you broke the rules you have to pay to pick a new name

As per the contract you signed in using xbox live and yes it is actually in the terms of use

Either live with the name or pay and choose a rated e name

Fyi too many forced name changes doesnt just affect your wallet but it can lead to a perm ban of the said account

So choose wisely
